Christmas Lights And Wreaths

This Christmas sleigh can be found outside one of the hotels downtown.

There are also Christmas lights on Parliament Hill at the moment.

This Christmas tree is in the Ottawa Convention Centre.

While this wreath is hanging outside the main entrance at the American embassy.

And this is one of the Christmas wreaths hanging on the fence at the Royal Canadian Mint.

  7. That Christmas tree looks so large and solid. I think it is the unusual use of white that gives this solid impression. And lovely lights.

  12. @Norma: and to you!

    @Sharon: that's what drew me to that wreath. The embassy had wreaths along the fence, but this mounted on the eagle really caught my attention.

    @Tamago: thank you!

    @Marianne: I thought whoever put it up did a good job.

    @Gemma: it works well within that space, I think.

    @Tex: I thought you might! This is the first time I've featured the Mint, but the second time I've photographed it for the blog. I'll have another post after the New Year.

    @Orvokki: I do think it probably took a good part of a day to put that tree up.

    @Parsnip: thank you!

    @Lowell: I really do too.

  13. Kind of funny--so many ribbons on the embassy's emblem and the eagle eating ribbon. May be nesting. :-)
