Sunset Views In The National Capital

I mentioned in the June theme day taking several shots while leaving the campus at Carleton University of the sun, late in the day. One of them I featured in that post, but these are the others, taken on an evening in early May.

These two views, taken from later in May, with slightly different light settings, are from the Bank Street Bridge over the Rideau Canal.

This was another sunset view from the bridge, taken in early June.

And later in June, I headed towards the bridge for a dusk shot. I took this first one through the treeline.

A bird made it into the shot just at the right moment, appearing above the darker cloud line to the left of the sun.

  7. I'm with Gunn and Bill. Love the last shot. However, all of the silhouette
shots add such an air of mystery and romance. Nice series.
