Wanderings Of A Canadian Loon Through The National Capital And Beyond
I'm loving the idea of floral bathing. Soak in the beauty of these glorious blossoms and fill your heart with beauty. What an amazing festival!
I love the different colors all mixed in together. Amazing displays.
Such an amazing display!
...those first peppermint, red and white tulips are my favorites.
Amazing! Possibly what you could call 'a heavy bulb moment' :-)
If I were the bulb planter, I'd be so tempted to plant a rogue tulip, like an orange one in the middle of an array of white tulips. I think I detected one of these in photo #4.JanisGDP
I really like how they mixed the colours.

Hello, I love all these beautiful tulips. Lovely colors and images. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
They are beautiful. Beautiful both in single colours and in mixed colours.
I think I like the purple and yellow ones the best. But they are all beautiful!
The tulips have taken over your city. It's like the Day of the Triffids!
Not only did they mix colors but some of the blooms themselves have two colors
That red one in the fourth photo is a showoff!
@Eileen: thank you!@Nancy: they certainly are.@Lowell: I agree.@RedPat: they do dominate things while they're blooming, but alas that time is now past.@Red: yes, the Canada 150 especially.@Norma: it certainly is!
There are quite a few "dare to be different" blooms in there.
So many beautiful tulips William.. love the 'rogue' tulips that date to be different 😀
I envy you these all tulips in the city.
I certainly like the yellow.
Somebody, probably several somebodies, have been hard at work preparing all those tulips beds. Seems like they should be recognized for their efforts.
I like the tulips that have the white edges in photo #8. They are gorgeous and unique.
Another lovely series, William!
@Sharon: there are!@Grace: they do stand out!@Klara: I enjoy them while they last.@Janey: so do I.@Revrunner: a lot of people put a good deal of work into this.@Bill: they certainly are.@Linda: thank you!
They look pretty all mixed up like that. I still like the yellow ones best!
What a grand, magnificent display!
You are indeed fotrunate, William, to see and caoture these beautiful and colorful blooms at their peak. What happens after they have all bloomed ?
Another glorious mix of blooms. All the best Jan
@Lois: thanks!@Mari: I agree.@Beatrice: I love to see them.@Jan: definitely!
