A reminder to members of City Daily Photo: the theme for October 1st is Sensual. And I direct you over to my writer's blog, where today I have the first of two posts on the recent Canadian Firefighters Memorial Ceremony.
Today I have some sky pics taken at various times in August. I took this shot one afternoon early in the month looking west upon the Rideau Canal from the Bank Street Bridge.
The following day, under similarly dramatic skies, I photographed the view west over the Rideau River, to the south of the above shot, at Billings Bridge.
This early morning shot in August captured the rising sun over the Canal.
This is a morning sky over Dundonald Park in Centretown.
This, meanwhile, is a brooding sky over the Glebe at Lansdowne Park. The same view was captured that day just south of here at the Bank Street Bridge.
This last pair was on yet another day, with storm clouds retreating to the south as I crossed the Rideau River at Billings. After finishing some errands, I came back and took in the view west.
Glorious captures, William!
ReplyDeleteYou caught some dramatic skies. I love that first shot. And the one with those looming vertical clouds and filtered sun is a real winner, too.
