Boughs Of Holly

Picking up where I left off yesterday, here are more takes of the Christmas trees around the Chateau Laurier.

This one, adorned with small teddy bears, also had the lyrics to the Teddy Bear Picnic song written on small plates going down the tree.

And this one featured photographs from around Ottawa, courtesy of Ottawa Tourism.

I finish off with this view.

  1. Owls on trees must be a thing! I know the lyrics to Teddy Bears Picnic but this doesn't seem to impress people. ;-)

  5. You made me look really "stupid", as I had to turn my head to read (so much wood!).
And then I laughed. About myself.

I go with Tom - it should last all year!

  7. For years I always topped my tree with a big bow so I'm kind of partial to the one here with the bow on top.

  21. Those are some great trees. My little town here in Arizona has a Christmas tree decorating contest in the city hall every year. But I love the first couple of tree-toppers - especially the owl. Much better than an angel. And the sign in the last photo is great!
