Upon The Open Prairies

Another diorama here features pronghorns in a Canadian Prairie setting. One of the things that strikes me about these is how the painter creates such a strong sense of depth in the background murals.


Panels at the base of each diorama includes information.


A wall here includes skulls of several mammals, each of varying size.

  12. Depth of field makes or breaks a diorama. There are some wonderful dioramas in Victoria at the Royal B.C. Museum.
