On the west edge of Major's Hill Park, lilac bushes are to be found. Glimpses of the Ottawa River can be seen here as well.
One of the planters along the pathway had tulips at the time, with Parliament Hill out across from the park.
Here we have a bit of a view of some of the foundations of the home that once housed Colonel By's family. The lilac bushes stand out nicely with Parliament.
And I leave off for today with a look towards the National Gallery.
Wonderful photos. I have very happy memories of lilac. It was the only thing that flowered in my first home!
