On the last night of June, I was attending a CFL football game at Lansdowne Park. After the game ended with a win for the home team in dramatic fashion, fireworks went off east of the stadium for Canada Day.
The following night was Canada Day itself. I had moved in late June into a new apartment in the Glebe, near the boundary of Little Italy, and heard the main fireworks start northwest of my location. Trees were blocking much of it, but I liked the effect, so I took a series of shots.
More from this tomorrow.
A fun celebration! Take care, have a wonderful day and happy weekend!

DeleteDo you ever watch rugby William? It's really popular here more than football.
ReplyDeleteAs a matter of fact, today in that very stadium will be a Canada vs Scotland rugby game.
DeleteI like trees better than fireworks, but your photos have sparkly trees! Unique!
