The sanctuary in Knox Presbyterian Church has a very light feel inside. I showed you the exterior a few days ago in my Two Churches post. The current church was finished in 1932, though the congregation has its roots further back into the 19th Century.
Lots of lovely symmetry in this shot William, j'adore the arches.. always love the arches :)
ReplyDeleteLove the special effects of the light!
ReplyDeleteYou captured the dancing light! Easy to see why it enchants!

These churches although beautiful are now obsolete in several ways. Theatre style seating is missing. Can you imagine sitting in the back of this church. I really like this interior photo.
ReplyDeleteLove that ceiling! I always sit at the back of the church - can make a getaway if needed! ;-))
ReplyDeleteThis is a very pretty sanctuary and I like the light streaming in the windows.
ReplyDeleteNice shot with beautiful light.
ReplyDeleteMany people can find a seat in there!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful sanctuary- love the ceiling and lights.
ReplyDelete@Whisk: thanks!
