Red, White, And Lilac

The tulip beds on Parliament Hill extend over onto the east lawn as well, with the bushes as a good backdrop. Lilacs are among those bushes, as they blossom around the same time as the tulips each year. This brings to a close my tulip festival photos for the year. Have you had an overdose of these things?

  9. We don't have many (if any) lilacs blooming in Texas, but I used to love them in Illinois. The aroma is so lovely.
