This Christmas tree is inside Fifth Avenue Court in the Glebe.
Billings Bridge Shopping Centre had this sleigh down at their main entrance. The swans, which I've shown before, all had red scarves for the season.
The Lord Elgin Hotel has nutcrackers beside its lobby fireplace, and a Christmas tree nearby.
This Santa statue is on display outside a kitchenware store in Old Ottawa South.
Love the festive decorations of the season.

Beautiful stuff for the season! Love those trees, and all the decorations, but especially love the scarf-draped swan!
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of work been done for all those decorations, but it's worth the work.
ReplyDeleteLovely decorations!
ReplyDeleteOttawa has great christmas spirit with great decorations. I stayed at the Lord Elgin for week and at that time (1967) it didn't have air conditioning.

ReplyDelete@Whisk: thanks!
@Linda: thank you.
@Tomas: and to you.
@Gemma: the sleigh must be new.
@Marianne: I do as well.
@Janis: they had to have had to use ladders to get them tied up!
@Lowell: I can't recall if they'd done that to the swans in previous years.
@Jan: I just wonder if the malls do them or they hire someone to get it done.
@Marleen: indeed!
@Red: that surprises me.
@Cloudia: indeed, and that's not the last we've seen of St. Nick, but the next one will be live and in person!
@Sharon: so do I. I've got a cousin who loves collecting nutcrackers.
@Norma: definitely.
@Gracita: thank you.
@Pamela: thanks!

You're certainly getting around these days, William. It's nice to see all these beautiful decorations, especially since I've been a grinch this year and have virtually no decorations up.
ReplyDeleteWow, such beautiful decorations! I love the swan with red scarf...how cute :-)
ReplyDeleteOttawa has to be the best decorated city for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLovely decorations! We don't have anything like it. We tend to string lights around palm tree trunks :)
ReplyDeleteI liked the Lord Elgin!!!
ReplyDelete@Kay: I'm a bit of a grinch myself, especially this year.
ReplyDelete@Tamago: it's a nice touch.
@Wendy: there's a lot of decoration out.
@Joan: that is outside my experience!
