I have some dawn shots today. First, taken from the Bronson Avenue Bridge over the Canal, and then in the Glebe a few minutes later, these three shots were from the same morning.
A few days later, I took two more shots over the Canal here again.
This would have been after the switch over to Daylight Saving Time.
And the skies on this final shot were completely different.
Beautiful, I love the colours, light and feel in these photos, William. And it looks like a funnel cloud in your second photo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies!
ReplyDeleteHello, beautiful sky series. Lovely captures. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how a few minutes apart, things change!
ReplyDelete(ツ) from Cottage Country Ontario !
...a beautiful start to the day.
ReplyDelete@Linda: it does. That must have been a contrail.
ReplyDelete@Linda: indeed.
@Eileen: thanks!
@Jennifer: the light changes fast that time of day.
@Tom: I think so!
Is that a cloud tornado I see?
ReplyDeleteNice blue light in the first few photos!
ReplyDeleteNice skies William. I like the angels/orbs in your ultimate shots
ReplyDeleteGorgeous skies over the canal William.
ReplyDeleteMorning comes quickly and you see different skies by the minute
ReplyDeleteThose are some glorious morning shots. I love the purples in the last one.

Beautiful series of sky shots. Lovely colours.
ReplyDeleteNice series. The second photo is great.
ReplyDeleteWonderful mornings and wonderful shots.
ReplyDelete@Andrew: it does resemble one!
ReplyDelete@Marleen: I thought so too.
@Cloudia: I was surprised to see them when I checked them on screen.
@Grace: definitely!
@Red: that is true.
@Janis: me too.
@Nancy: thanks!
@Orvokki: thank you.
@Klara: I won't have much in the way of dawn shots once spring and summer really establish themselves!
Stil snow I see. Looks crisp and cold.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking skies William.
ReplyDeleteYou are up and about early!
ReplyDeleteYou live in a completely different world. I played golf today and it was hot here. At noon it was 86 degrees heading toward 93 degrees. Unusual, but still. So, I enjoy seeing your photos of what life is like in the northlands! :)
ReplyDeletePretty array of beautiful light in the sky.
ReplyDeletePretty scenery and beautiful skies. I also love your header shot with the tulips. Can't wait to see ours. Daffodils are blooming and it seems to be getting warmer.
ReplyDelete@SC: we had a good deal of snow over the winter.
ReplyDelete@Bill: thanks!
@RedPat: it can depend on the day. Some days I start with a walk.
@Lowell: here we had temps just above freezing today.
@Gemma: dawn will do that.
@Denise: it'll be a month before this years' tulips are up.
Beautiful captures. I love sunrises and sunsets.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous skies!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.
ReplyDeleteThe skies may be very nice in these shots but all I can think of is how darned cold it must be at that hour. (No, I don't share your enduring love of winter. Mine has a meter and it's impatiently waiting for spring now.)
ReplyDeleteVery neat photos. Happy Spring.
ReplyDelete@Norma: thanks!
ReplyDelete@Lois: thank you.
@Mari: thanks!
@Kay: spring has been very slow this year!
@Whisk: whenever it shows- I still expect more snow before we're through.
