Christmas In The Chateau

Each year at Christmas, the Chateau Laurier puts on a display of Christmas trees in their lobby and surrounding corridors. Local businesses and organizations make a donation to a hospital foundation, trees are decorated, some with unusual themes, and the trees are a draw for hotel guests and locals alike. Here are some of them, and I have more of them tomorrow.

  1. All the Christmas trees are beautifully decorated. Looks like it is very cold over there.

  7. I don't think I have seen this amount of christmas trees in one post. But that's fine, because there is a lot of variety in this collection. I could even stand more, I think ... ;-)

  16. Happy after Christmas to you, William. I have spent some time catching up on blog posts and have enjoyed the photos in your recent ones. I have been absent from blog commenting due to recent travels, but hope to return by next week.

    We were "on the road" for 3 weeks from after Thanksgiving till the week before Christmas. It wasn't exactly a vacation, but more of an extended road trip that included checking the VA house and getting some minor repairs completed, then learning the closing date would not happen aa expected (extension requested). We did see friends in DC and attended the USAF band holiday concert. We also went to our granddaughter's 1st birthday party in PA.

    I hope that your holidays were joyous and that the coming new year holds wonderful surprises in store (all good).

  18. @Jo: thank you!

    @RedPat: they are indeed.

    @Cloudia: you're welcome.

    @Bill: I enjoyed showing them.

    @Beatrice: I've been slowed down considerably this month in terms of online time, which I'm hoping is done in terms of technical issues. I have a lot of catching up to do, and three plus weeks of technical issues means it'll take well into January to get that done.

    @Furry Gnome: we got a good deal of snow!

    @Linda: very pretty!
