Evening Fire

NorthFIRE Circus is a Canadian group of fire performers whose shows are best seen in the evenings. Using fire hoops, staffs, poi, wands, and other items and setting them on fire, the group performs choreographed fire acts that are ethereal to look at. I caught them in one performance; they collaborated with the Sisters of Spin for a joint fire show on the Saturday evening of Buskerfest. The shapes they can make with fire, however fleeting, are magical.
