A Blaze Of Autumn Glory

The fall colours in Major's Hill Park were a particular delight during this visit.

At the far side of the park, landmarks like Notre Dame and the National Gallery can be seen.

The sunlight was astonishing on the fall colours.

Looking back the way I came, the view includes the Chateau Laurier.

And here's a view of the American embassy.

Looking out at the fenceline gives views of the Bytown Museum and Parliament Hill.

As I left off yesterday with a view of the Ottawa River, so I do so again today.

  4. Most people tend to think in terms of October as being the best time for Autumn leaf colour, but for us here it is November. It looks as if that might be the case with you too, but they also need those lovely blue skies which yours have.
