The Rideau Centre rooftop includes flower beds, grass, trees, bushes, and paths. During the Tulip Festival there are tulips aplenty in the flower beds. This first view includes a look towards Arts Court in the background.

The Rideau Centre includes access points into the convention centre; some of it is included with the second half of this post. The doors coming out of it onto this roof would have to be emergency exits.

ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how our eyes accept the view of a flower bed when dappled in light and shade, but when the camera captures the scene, at least to my eyes, the view becomes the dappled light and shade mainly, and oh yes, there are the flowers too.
