Awww it comes to modern Art !Is not so easy to do as it looks, I am just learning it !
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Sometimes not so easy.
ReplyDeleteLove the dazzle ships:)
ReplyDeleteReally appreciate the talent seen here, although not really my thing.
ReplyDeleteI took a long time looking at the Dazzleships. It really dazzle me but I like the details.
ReplyDeleteI think that Dazzleships is a very clever use of lines and colour which conveys exactly what the image is all about.
ReplyDeleteI like the black cat, other I´m... not so much a fan of this kind of art, but am I to judge... It´s art :-)
ReplyDeleteI suspect that this week's artists are unknown to most of us. They were new names to me.
ReplyDelete@Gattina: modern art can be weird.
ReplyDelete@Italiafinlandia: definitely.
@Rosie: I do too.
@Gemel: for me it depends on the piece.
@Nancy: as do I.
@Rosemary: it does.
@Iris: the black cat suits me.
...some of it is hard to understand.
ReplyDeleteThese are really interesting!
ReplyDeleteI confess to being a little unmoved by these. I known it is a failing, but it is what it is.
ReplyDeleteI like the first and the last one in this serie.
ReplyDelete@David: aside from Picasso?
ReplyDelete@Tom: especially Picasso.
@Jennifer: they are.
@Anvilcloud: for me modern art depends on the piece.
@Jan: thank you.

Not familiar with Edward Wadsworth although a British artist. I must look out for his work here. I like his excellent painting of the dazzle ship.
ReplyDeleteDazzleships is a piece that certainly has the right caption.
ReplyDeleteThat Picasso must be from his cubist period.
ReplyDeleteI like Wadsworth's the best.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art. My favorite is the Black Cat.
ReplyDeleteGood selection. The Wadsworth takes a bit of old eye focusing to make any sense to me.
ReplyDelete@Magiceye: thanks!
ReplyDelete@DJan: you're welcome.
@Carol: thank you.
@Fun60: it stands out.
@Red: it does.
@Sharon: indeed.
@Revrunner: me too.
@Bill: it's a terrific painting.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
DeleteThese are less my style than the earlier ones -- but then, that's just me!
