Formal And Less Formal

Today I start out with a close up of the tulips I finished with yesterday.

During my last visit to the park, I made mention of the likely chance that squirrel gardeners were responsible for this.

The path took me on to the next formal beds.

Moving along, the path led me past these. Deliberate or the work of squirrel gardeners.

The next bed included a sculpture among it, with less dense plantings of tulips.

That very dark purple particularly catches my eye.

  3. I think all those flowers and colors are pretty, but most flower beds are a bit too formal and too tight in my opinion. I prefer the slightly overgrown in a garden or park like in your last photos.

  4. I think I fall into the informal group - no one would notice then if you'd planted a bulb in the wrong place.

  5. Squirrel gardeners are very abstract.

  8. Miriam is not too happy with squirrels right now. They chewed down all her lupines - didn't eat them, just chewed them down to the ground.
