Today I start out with a close up of the tulips I finished with yesterday.
During my last visit to the park, I made mention of the likely chance that squirrel gardeners were responsible for this.
The path took me on to the next formal beds.
Moving along, the path led me past these. Deliberate or the work of squirrel gardeners.
The next bed included a sculpture among it, with less dense plantings of tulips.
That very dark purple particularly catches my eye.
The first pic is my favorite - so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe dark purple ones are unique!
ReplyDeleteTodas muito bonitas.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.

Love the dark violet tulips !
ReplyDeleteI think all those flowers and colors are pretty, but most flower beds are a bit too formal and too tight in my opinion. I prefer the slightly overgrown in a garden or park like in your last photos.
ReplyDeleteI think I fall into the informal group - no one would notice then if you'd planted a bulb in the wrong place.
ReplyDeleteSquirrel gardeners are very abstract.
ReplyDelete@Iris: thank you.
ReplyDelete@Italiafinlandia: they always draw my eye.
@Francisco: thank you.
@Gattina: so do I.
@Jan: I go for both.
@John: that is true.
@Gemel: that they are.
...I remember the red sculpture well.
ReplyDeleteMiriam is not too happy with squirrels right now. They chewed down all her lupines - didn't eat them, just chewed them down to the ground.
ReplyDeleteAh, to get along with wildlife!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots.
The tulips en masse are beautiful William, the random squirrel activity is super delightful to see 🌷
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo with the close-up.
ReplyDeleteI like the rivers of flowers, William.
ReplyDeleteToday my favourite is the close up!
ReplyDeleteThose squirrel gardeners make their own designs.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful close-up of the tulips!
ReplyDeleteI'll take the formal but my preference is native habitat.
ReplyDeleteThe dark coloured tulips on photo no.1 are beautiful.
The first photo was beyond fantastic! Tweeted.
ReplyDelete@Tom: thank you.
ReplyDelete@David: squirrels will be squirrels.
@Jennifer: it's a good thing.
@Grace: that it is.
@Marie: so do I.
@RedPat: me too.
@Magiceye: it's a good one.
@Sharon: they certainly do.
@Bill: thank you!
@Red: I like both.
@Marleen: I think so.
@Ventana: thanks!
@Mari: thank you!
Lovely photographs.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers.
The red sculpture is another splash of colour!
All the best Jan
Thank you!
DeleteSquirrel gardeners are so indefatigable! I followed a checkered crocus around my front yard for years.
ReplyDeleteSquirrels must be squirrels.
DeleteVery pretty. The tulips seem to be endless.
ReplyDeleteThere were a lot of them.
DeleteWilliam - I can't imagine the thousands of tulip bulbs!!! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat they are.
