Picking up where I left off yesterday, the next beds of tulips had some colours just starting to show.
More were in these beds.
Behind the above beds, trilliums can be found on the slope.
I carried on to the next beds.
In the lawn nearby, daffodils grow at this same time of year.
These lovely tulips caught my eye.
The next bed, the largest of the stand-alone beds, didn't have a lot of colour yet.
A bed close by had more dense tulips along the pathway, but it was the less dense tulips here on the other side that caught my eye, growing among other plants.
Finishing off today with this raised bed that's in a circle, with signage on the far side. We'll be looking at those signs tomorrow.
I think that the tulips in Ottawa have come to rival the cherry blossoms in DC as a tourist attraction.

DeleteYou're getting there. some of them are rather poorly planted.
ReplyDeleteSometimes things happen in a given bed. Like raids by squirrel gardeners.
DeleteBeautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteI think so.
DeleteThis is such a wonderful way to celebrate the arrival of Spring! I don't see tulips here in Florida at all, so it is especially nice for me; thank you!!
