I begin today with Owl's Head Mountain, by Robert S. Duncanson, a landscape painting from 1864.
Kakabeka Falls, Kamanistiquia River is the title of this 1882 painting by Lucius O'Brien, depicting a mighty waterfall in Ontario's north.
Here we have another Cornelius Krieghoff painting. Winter Landscape, Laval dates to 1862.
While this is another Lucius O'Brien work, from 1880, titled Sunrise On The Saguenay, Cape Trinity.
Ozias Leduc painted Still Life, Study By Candlelight in 1893.
A Daffodil is a 1910 Impressionist work by Laura Muntz Lyall.
I finish today with Grey and Gold, a 1910 painting by Florence Carlyle.
The Daffodil is my favourite.
