Canada has long had a history with the United Nations, being part of the work in forming the organization, including a Canadian drafting the Declaration of Human Rights, John Peters Humphrey, seen at below right with Eleanor Roosevelt, who chaired the committee.
Balancing commitments with allies and developing a reputation as an honest broker has paid off in the long run for the country. Canadians are by and large welcome around the world. A backpack and passport belonging to Sean Mannion now resides here.
Coming out of the exhibit space gives us a look at the roof of St. Onuphrius.
Along the path are large scale photographs of life in Canada and life for Canadians.
For today I finish with this look down at the physical relief map of the country. We conclude this tour tomorrow.
The relief map is intriguing.
