National Scenes

More today of the large scale photographs on our way out.

Heading down the long ramp, I took this shot.

Back out of the Canadian History Hall, the corridor is lined with more of these images from across the country, done by combining mirror with a light overlay. This is the monument to Louis Riel in Manitoba.

A train crosses the Rockies in British Columbia.

The license plate of the Northwest Territories is in the shape of a polar bear.

Motherwell Homestead National Historic Site is in Saskatchewan.

The S.S. Klondike is a part of history in the Yukon.

Here we see Province House in Prince Edward Island.

And for today I leave off with Cape Spear, in Newfoundland, where the dawn first rises in North America.

  6. I really like those sandblasted mirrors. It is a fun technique and seems to work really well there.
