Women Of Distinction

Here are more of the panels on Plaza Bridge this summer. The first honours a collective group, the Nursing Sisters of the First World War.

Another panel on a group of women, this is for the Canadian Women's Army Corps of the Second World War.

  7. The women were amazing through the first and second world wars, I sometimes wonder how tough the young women today would be like in similar circumstances.. I mean, can you imagine the Kardashian women buckling down to it ☺☺☺

    @Janis: and one more day of them to come.

    @Beth: it is an old fashioned name.

    @Marianne: it is, yes.

    @Hilary: it was a good choice for this year.

    @Grace: I have met some women who served in the Second World War in various ways. They have many stories. As for the Kardashians, they would never be capable of such service.
