Picking up where I left off yesterday, these are the tulips in the east flowerbed at the base of the Peace Tower.
Coming down onto the lawn, I took in the tulips found here at the north edge. My shots included a ground level shot with a skewed angle that I liked. Tomorrow I'll take you over to the next spot I visited on this day.
It looks as if spring has really sprung. It's so nice to see your tulips again!
ReplyDeleteThose tulips are a wonderful, vibrant red and they are in a most appealing setting.
ReplyDeleteI can't decide which is more beautiful William, the tulips or the architecture, they compliment each other beautifully.. here and yesterday also!
ReplyDeleteFollow the red tulip trail. Love following you on this journey.

I notice the flags are straight out so it was a very windy day when you took these photos. I always enjoy the tulips.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful red tulips, blue sky and tower. Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteAll that red brightens up your world. Love the Peace Tower, too, even if it is "leaning." I've read that the best way to photograph flowers is to get down to their level and shoot up or across. You must have read that, too. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteOh my such splendid beauty!
ReplyDeleteThe bright red colour is eye-catching!
ReplyDelete@Kay: spring took awhile getting here.
ReplyDelete@Gemma: it is a great setting for them

I love to see the Maple Leaf Flag flying!
ReplyDeleteOn my first photography course, we learned that you never take a skewered or angled shot. but my! Your shot is beautiful. I think I'll try a few like that myself.
ReplyDelete@Marleen: it is!
ReplyDelete@MB: I do too. I have to photograph these beds one more time- the other kind has come in as well now.
@Linda: thank you!
@Sharon: it suited me.
@Noke: thanks!
@Cloudia: I do too.
@Jo: every once in awhile, an angle works!
All that red beauty is pleasing to the eyes. I love seeing the Canadian flag flying high on the tower, very picturesque.
