This circular flowerbed in Commissioners Park had two types of tulips- when I came back here for another photo tour on the last Friday of the festival, they were fully open. I'll be showing that set before this series is done.
This was a temporary installation in the park.
This is a permanent installation, Man With Two Hats, by the Dutch artist Henk Visch. It has a double in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands.
The flowerbeds further on in the park were irresistible for photographers.
Great pictures of an amazing mass plantings
ReplyDeleteThe sculptures are very nice but the tulips are the real stars of the show.
ReplyDeleteenjoyed both sculptures!
ReplyDeleteI like the tulip sculpture.
ReplyDelete...Willam, I've never seen so many tulips before, quite the sight. Thanks for sharing.

Now I like the man with two hat. It's thought provoking. Tulips are more showy when they are fully in bloom.
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers! But you know that. I like that quirky sculpture, too. And the man with two hats is pretty funky. It seems he needs two heads! And if those heads were empty he could become our president! Yea!
ReplyDeleteI especially love photo #5!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots of the tulips, and I do love those sculptures.
ReplyDeleteI can certainly understand how irresistible these flowers are to photographers. They are so beautiful, I wouldn't be able to resist them either.
