A reminder for members of City Daily Photo that the theme day for January is about your favourite shot or shots of the year. I'll be taking two days to cover both Ottawa and Gatineau.
Lansdowne Park last year hosted a European style Christmas market. With Covid being as it is, it was not possible to do it this year, but the place does have lights around the Aberdeen Pavilion, and a big tree outside the main entrance.
The square to the building's side is well lit up.
This ice sculpture was outside.
While the Christmas market of last year wasn't to be this year, there is a farmers market regardless, held inside the Pavilion through the winter. And for the Christmas season, the market extended to Saturdays and Sundays, whereas usually it's a Sunday event.
These wreaths were on display.
These look good.
And so do these.
I'll be honest- Christmas is a difficult time of year for me, for a multitude of reasons. Still, I decided to pick up this little guy for myself.
To those who mark the occasion, enjoy Christmas.
The lights are so pretty! I like that little critter. Is it a bear?
