Today I'm starting with shots of homes around Centretown, decked out for Christmas.
This is actually one of the last Christmas shots I took. I totally agree with everything on the right, especially in regards to maple syrup. As to the left? Let's just say that my idea of hell is watching a Will Ferrell movie. The man makes the Ebola virus look more appealing.
These two shots are from the same office building downtown.
These are from a florist shop downtown.
The Christmas spirit is alive and well !
ReplyDeleteLovely. The lights are so bright and cheerful:)
ReplyDeleteThat all looks very nice and cheerful.
ReplyDeleteI admit it: our garden is a lot less beautifully decorated.
Everything is very nicely decorated! The lights always bring joy!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! May your happiness be large and your bills be small! LOL
I like the decorations from the flower shop.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of decorations overthere, all lights in the darkness!
ReplyDeletePeppe are spending a bit more money on decorations this Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThere will be some sizeable hydro bills to pay!
ReplyDelete...William, I hope that you will have a bright and healthy Christmas.
ReplyDeleteLots of colorful displays....maple syrup and all.
ReplyDeleteI haven't really been out after dark - there is no where to go!
ReplyDeleteNice examples of inside and outside decorations.
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas decorations so these all make me smile, but I had to laugh at Will Ferrell! Yes, I agree with you on the list and maple syrup. The colorful lights really cheer me. These are pretty. Happy Christmas week.
ReplyDeleteChristmas decorations make the cold nights warm!
ReplyDelete@Catarina: in some ways.
ReplyDelete@Rosie: that they are.
@Jan: I don't decorate.
@Ella: that I don't have to worry about.
@Marleen: they do stand out.
@Marianne: that's how it looks.
@Stefan: that seems to be the case.
@David: definitely.
ReplyDelete@Tom: thank you.
@Sharon: indeed.
@RedPat: now we're heading back into a lockdown, and in my mind an unreasonable one. Our city has had low numbers for some time, and it feels like we're being punished for things happening elsewhere. I'm frustrated.
@Red: thank you!
@Jeanie: I really dislike him.
@Italiafinlandia: that seems so.
Wonderful! Thanks for all the bright displays.
ReplyDeleteLooks like people are in the spirit of Christmas. Beautiful displays, William.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Xmas night shots!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you,

ReplyDeleteThey are lovely, aren't they? Good work shooting them.
ReplyDelete@DJan: you're welcome.
ReplyDelete@Bill: thank you.
@Carol: thanks!
@Mari: thank you.
@Maywyn: indeed.
@Jennifer: thanks.
Some pretty shop windows there.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteMarvelous festive photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteHi William there is a problem seeing your other recent posts, it is saying the page doesn't exist. Not sure if other followers are seeing this message.
ReplyDeleteThat was me yesterday. I had to reschedule some posts for January when I realized I had a gap, and kept making the mistake of setting them in December. Hence I had to rewrite the posts and put the photos back in a fresh post.
Deletesome cool festive decorations. Merry Christmas, William, to you and your loved ones.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteIt's lovely to see entire neighborhoods lighted.
ReplyDeleteIt is.
DeleteThanks for the tip about the theme! I thought that might be it for January but wasn't sure! I don't think it is fair that Ottawa is locked down either but I also think the small stores are safer than the big box stores. I just hope the vaccine works for us all. Cheers, Pat!
ReplyDeleteI hope that locally speaking this lockdown gets lifted in two weeks instead of four. I'm utterly disgusted with this decision.
DeleteGreat to see streets brightening up for the joyous season!
ReplyDeleteIt is.
