Illuminated Beauty

As I mentioned a couple of days back, I returned to photograph the ice sculptures on the first weekend as they were illuminated by lights. I start with the set on the south portion of the grounds of the National War Memorial, which was all about the Ice Storm of 1998.

Moving onto Sparks Street, I photographed this large vertical sculpture which I'd missed when I'd first come through, but showed you the other day, rendered opaque but still standing after a couple of weeks of exposure. This was for opentext, a Canadian tech company.

This is one of the competitive sculptures, completed, with the theme of Sinbad, from mythology, as its inspiration.
