A Night When Spirits Of The Underworld Walk The Earth

Happy Hallowe'en!

I start today in the Glebe, where one morning I passed by this house, with Hallowe'en decorations already out. The skeletal Cerberus appealed to me.

Another night, and a few blocks away, I was at Lansdowne Park, where one of the restaurants tends to decorate their patio area for the occasion.

Yesterday, these were outside the same restaurant.

And a few nights ago, on my way home, I took a route I normally don't take, and my reward for it was several homes with Hallowe'en decorations.

  3. We are seeing more decorations in Australia now but I would have to take a long walk to get as many as you.

  6. Nice series, William. Halloween is not a traditional holiday for us. But under the influence of the media and commerce, it is becoming increasingly popular among young people.

  7. Yes, you would have many displays to photograph in such an urban area.

  10. I was filling my bird feeders yesterday and I saw two worms. Perhaps they were spirits of the underworld - no wait, it’s Pierre Polièvre who fills that bill.
