Aside from the planted tulips, daffodils can be found in Commissioners Park, often blooming in the grass this time of year.
The tulip beds are busiest during the weekends through the festival.
This sign was by one of the flower beds. Some of you might remember the Canada 150 tulip from last year, which had a debut showing in last year's festival, but which was released to the Canadian public at large last fall for planting for this anniversary year. Many of those tulips will be on display this year during the festival. As you can see, those bulbs weren't quite ready yet when I took this shot.
Here we have another example of daffodils growing in the grass near the flower beds. I wonder how this happens- squirrels, perhaps? Beyond that are more tulip beds.
