A Flourish

This shot taken in Centretown was taken late one afternoon.

Here we have another shot of fall colours at Dundonald Park, taken early one morning.

A couple of blocks away, another shot of colours in the morning light.

Later that day, I went for a walk and photographed St. Patrick Basilica again with fall colours.

I continued on, coming to Plaza Bridge to photograph the Rideau Canal again where it meets the Ottawa River.

I then headed along the terrace beside the Chateau Laurier to go over to Major's Hill Park.

The statue of Colonel John By here had fall colours as a backdrop.

This view includes Parliament Hill and the Gatineau shoreline.

Notre Dame's spires can be glimpsed here in the park.

And the top of the National Gallery's glass tower can be seen here.

I finish off with this view, looking towards the Hill, with the Bytown Museum nestled among the trees below.

  1. Too bad there was no sunshine during much of this series. I especially love all the gold that is shining in the sun in the first three photos.
