Modernism

 Dazzleships in Dry Dock at Liverpool is the title of this 1919 painting by Edward Wadsworth.

Marcel Duchamp painted Red Nude in 1910.

The Black Cat is a 1911 work by Gino Severini.


Picasso painted The Small Table in 1919.


And today we conclude with The Glass of Absinthe, by Georges Braque. It is from 1910-11.

  5. I think that Dazzleships is a very clever use of lines and colour which conveys exactly what the image is all about.

  15. Not familiar with Edward Wadsworth although a British artist. I must look out for his work here. I like his excellent painting of the dazzle ship.
