This Is How You Get Through Winter

This large pile of snow is topped with a snow sculpture, of what looks like a wolf peeking out from beneath an inukshuk.

The big snow slides are the attraction in the park, with long lines. I've done it before. You go down the long slope on an inner tube.

Another thing to do: zip lines. I took several shots.

  4. Those are nice long slides! In my childhood we had to do with slides of about five meters long. Nowadays, due to lack of winter, we no longer have slides at all.

    1. They build these, since the natural slope in the park is very gradual. Just bring in a whole lot of snow and mold the slides from it.

Buy a small flat in a hot climate. Spent 3 months a year there.

  13. I think you have to be a very special person to live where there is so much snow! Can't say I'd be big on the zip lining, though!
