I finish today with the Gatineau side of the Ottawa River and its participation in the Tulip Festival. The flowerbeds in Jacques Cartier Park were a delight, and at their height.
I zoomed in on this Canada goose, walking around like he owned the joint.
Some final shots. Tomorrow we're back on the Ottawa side of the river to carry on.
I think you must appreciate this floral beauty even more because of the winters you have endured. Or is that too much of a cliche? Have a brilliant weekend my friend
ReplyDeleteI can relate to that.

DeleteSuch bright colors in the sunshine! I guess you didn't have the smoke particles in your air from the Canadian wildfires, which we even had this far south.

DeleteOttawa's tulips should be listed as one of the beautiful Wonders of the World.
ReplyDeleteThey are a delight.
DeleteIt is not common to see a goose on its own. Not around here anyway!
ReplyDeleteThere were others nearby in the park, so this one must have been with them.
Delete...they are still blooming - a feast for the eyes
ReplyDeleteApplause, a big one.
Not anymore- these were taken in mid-May.
