Bright Reds

More today from Major's Hill Park with tulips. The American embassy looms in the background, a neighbour to the park on the east side.

These bright reds really caught my eye.

Photographing the photographer: an easy thing during the Tulip Festival.

Heading up the slope, I took two more shots of the beds in the north end of the park.

At the top of the slope, this cluster of white tulips caught my eye.

There are a number of raised beds along the walkway overlooking the Ottawa River. Tulips were here too. More from here tomorrow.

  1. That would be a place I can spend days photographing the tulips

  2. It somehow seems odd that we are a week away from the longest day of the year and tulips are still blooming.

    1. Benefits of taking a lot of photos- two weeks of blooms leads to weeks of posts. The tulips are now long gone.
