Magic Brian of New York was another act this year at Buskerfest. I came across him being tightened up into a straightjacket by two volunteers, one of whom didn't want to grab "that strap between his legs".
Here's another look at the Spring Action trampoline troupe in action.
Finally, here are two buskers in conversation between sets. Pancho Libre, who I showed you at the beginning of this series, had finished his set at this spot. He was chatting with the busker whose work I'll be showing you in the next two days to complete the series.
People are doing hard work to live life.
ReplyDeleteI guess he made it out of the straightjacket?
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing what some people can do!
ReplyDeleteneat trick. i have heard of folks doing something similar before. ( ;
ReplyDeletea good variety of talents there!
ReplyDeleteI noticed that there are a lot of people watching these various events. Can't blame them...it's fascinating. And I'll bet that guy got out of that straight jacket right away!
ReplyDeleteThe guy in the straitjacket reminds me of Mel Gibson doing his straitjacket escape in Lethal Weapon 2!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I haven't seen those movies in forever. True.
DeleteThe Buskerfest is drawing a lot of people! Have a wonderful day!

@Bill: most definitely. There was a good mix.

Such fun! I wouldn't like being tied up in a straight jacket though. That gave me the heebjeebies just to look at it. Too many horror movies in my youth probably ;) Great photos William and always enjoyable to see what is going on in your beautiful city.
ReplyDeleteGee, you didn't show him breaking out of it. Looking forward to the rest.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a very fun event and a great chance to get some good action shots. The trampoline shots are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteIt would have been cool to see Magic Brian free of the jacket.
ReplyDeleteAn amazing range of skills are being demonstrated in these acts. Quite incredible.
ReplyDeleteBusker DU !
ReplyDeleteThe straight jacket trick is an old one, but fun for the young people! #OldFart
