Packing Up The Parachutes

Upon reaching the ground, the various members of the Skyhawks pulled their chutes as far over to the west side as they could, and began the task of repacking them for the next time they happen to make a jump. It takes awhile, but they seem to have it all down to an art. They also chatted with nearby members of the public, posed for a few pictures, and gave wide eyed kids things like wristbands or stickers. By the time they were done, the ceremony itself was getting underway, with military marching music being played.

  3. Nice gesture on the Skyhawks to spend time with the people and having their photos taken. Kids must have been very happy to get wristbands and stickers. The last two photos are perfect! Well done William.

  11. Packing up the parachutes is about the most important thing they do, I think, great to see how they do that.

  12. I do admire the courage these paratroopers exhibit. I think they're kind of nuts, but that's my problem, not theirs. Looks like a lot of people showed up for this show! I hope the guys weren't too distracted 'cause you don't want to make any mistakes when you're packing a chute!
