Here we have more from Kontinuum today, with the fantastic lights and shapes on the translucent screens set between the two track beds.

  1. I think I'd be disappointed when this becomes an ordinary metro station after this!

  2. I think it forces everyone to think of art and to interact with their space. Great idea.

  4. I'm sure you would find some people just standing still and watching for a long time. It would take me a long time to go through this show.

  5. The 60's counter-culture would have loved this event.

  6. @Kay: I'll have to photograph it sometime when that happens!

    @Francisco: thanks!

    @Janis: that's true.

    @Tom: it has that effect.

    @Karl: thanks!

    @Red: I know I spent a good deal of time in this.

    @Sharon: indeed. I looked at it and thought of things like The Matrix or Tron Legacy.

    @Grace: thank you!

  13. Overwhelming and surprising and very blue. Do you think all of this could distract riders and be a danger to them?

  17. Great photos! I like the first image, reminds me of an underground subway.

  18. It feels like being in a futuristic movie

  19. @Denise: you're welcome!

    @Lois: it does!

    @Fun60: we've had a lot of different activities going on in the city because of the 150th anniversary of the country's confederation.

    @Revrunner: it gives me that sense as well. Strictly speaking, since most of this line will be above ground, it's not a subway, but the underground portion starts west of this station and goes all the way out to the University of Ottawa.

    @Tamago: that's certainly what I think.

    @Christine: I certainly kept thinking of the Matrix.

    @Lowell: it'll be quite a different experience next year when these stations are serving their actual purpose, but yes, it could be disorienting!

    @Beth: I think it could give someone prone to seizures problems!

    @RedPat: definitely!

    @Jan: thanks!

    @Bill: it does, yes.

    @Jan: yes, it does.

  22. It is a bit like watching a film..... and it is 06.52 in the morning here in Norway. Dark outside and fairly dark here where I am sitting.

  23. @Carol: I tended to take a lot of shots when I attended these shows, and used the best ones. High speed shutters are a joy.

    @Shammickite: that's true!

    @Furry Gnome: it was!

    @Linda: I enjoyed it.

    @Cloudia: I can see that.

    @Gunn: it had that feeling.

    @Norma: that could happen.

    @Klara: they do.
