The Meaning Of Total War

Normandy would be a great turning point in the war in the west, but with high costs.

This is a veteran of that campaign, a Sherman tank used by Canadians that now resides here.

After Normandy, the Allies pushed the Germans back both in the west and the east. For Canadians, that included the Scheldt campaign in Belgium, and the use of a rather effective vehicle in warfare, the Wasp.

And this is one of them.

Profiles of individuals are repeated here.

Medical care is also featured here.

  2. It was powerful for Sue to see those tanks at the museum. Her dad drove one. What a horror to be in one of those things.

  16. William - I never heard of the Wasp. We humans have an immeasurable capability to think of new ways to inflict death.
