Sculpted

A reminder to members of City Daily Photo: the theme for May 1st is Shadows.

Today we look at the finished ice sculptures from Winterlude 2019, as seen in the Byward Market.

This last shot, from outside the shelters, features flags of some of the carvers- both Canadian and from around the world. In the background lies the Connaught Building and Parliament Hill in the background.

  4. I am sure the carvers from other countries missed their beavertails when they weren't able to attend the event due to the dreaded COVID.
