Continuing on, after returning into Ottawa from Gatineau, I went up to Major's Hill Park to photograph the large tulip beds at the north end of the park. This is one of them, with the glass tower of the National Gallery in the background.
The American embassy can be seen here in the background, along with the Chateau Laurier in the following shot.
The other beds in this part of the park include Notre Dame in the background.
The purple ones are awesome.
