On the same evening as I've shown you in the last couple of posts, I headed towards the Rideau Canal from Lansdowne Park. Alongside the Aberdeen Pavilion, tulips are found beneath the bushes lining the building.
On the east side of the building are flowerbeds lined with benches. Tulips are found here. In the background is the Horticulture Building at left.
As one exits at the east side of Lansdowne Park, there is a large circular flowerbed filled with tulips. At its heart is a monument put in place at the time of the Calgary Winter Olympics. The Canal is beyond the parkway. This year, yellow tulips dominate here.
The Pavilion itself is seen in the background here.
Across the path, and beneath blossoming trees, is another smaller flowerbed, with more tulips.
One last look at the statue set and the tulips.
A sea of yellow.
