Some more autumn shots today and tomorrow, taken at various times over the last few weeks. These first shots were on quiet streets in the Glebe.
This is Patterson Creek, an inlet of the Rideau Canal at the north end of the neighbourhood, occupying part of Central Park. Ducks were making the most of the water, which has been lowered for the winter season.
Nearby, this home houses an embassy.
A close up of fall colours.
Coming back on the shuttle bus from Gatineau Park, this bright tree in the city of Gatineau caught my eye.
I left the shuttle bus at the Museum of History and took these shots from the Alexandra Bridge.
Back in Ottawa after crossing the bridge. Here, in Major's Hill Park, I took a photo of Parliament Hill across the way. The Bytown Museum and Rideau Canal were below.
This tree caught my attention, with the Chateau Laurier in the background.
Another look across the Canal.
Another day, in Centretown, this tree, which I've shown in previous posts, was at its height.
This one is also close to home for me.
This is taken from the Pimisi LRT station, with fall colours lining the path.
And close to home, these shots are taken at Dundonald Park.
Very beautiful. Thank you.
