Who's A Good Boy?

November and December mean Christmas bazaars on the weekends here. A week ago I was on my way into St. Giles Presbyterian Church in the Glebe, when I saw this magnificent fellow waiting for his human near the side door of the church.

I came back out shortly after, and he was still present and accounted for, so I took a couple of shots. His human told me she'd named him Hank. He was a very friendly chap.

    1. A bandana on a dog is one item of decoration that seems fitting.

  4. I'm always fearful that someone will steal a dog left on its own like that. It has happened to a couple of people that I know.

  7. Not sure about your end, but I would not leave a beautiful gentle dog like him tight up outside for too long. You never know who takes a fancy to him ...

  8. Aw, how cute!:) I wish Emma was like that. I'm training her little by little, but given another dog or person approach, she still goes nuts!!

    1. I think it's part of the harness. I know his mouth wasn't restrained, because he licked my hand.

    2. I think it's one of those "gentle leader" leashes. People keep telling me to get one for Emma on the premise that a leash pulling back makes a strong dog like Emma want to pull forward even more, while something on the face makes them instinctively want to back up.
