Stained Glass And The Sanctuary

Our Lady Immaculate is filled with stained glass windows depicting Biblical scenes.

This being late December, the altar had a Christmas theme in its decor.

  2. Just checked out the previos post as well to see the outside of this magnificent building, William. It is true, at least for me, that churches today are no where near as beautiful as those built many years ago. Thankfully, they withstand the test of time.

  5. Beautiful stained glass, It's always a pity that it's so hard to get it well on photos, but your first shot shows it very well, I think.

  10. @Norma: thank you!

    @Jan: it is very difficult. The glass around the altar was on the south and west side, where the sun was strongest at that time of day.

    @Lois: stained glass in these churches always strikes me with how artistic it can be.

    @Tex: I think so too!

    @Sharon: thanks!

    @Luis: you're welcome!

    @Judy: that would seem to be the consensus!
