Buskers On Victoria Day

While out at Commissioner's Park on Victoria Day taking more tulip photos, I happened across these two aerial buskers. The women were certainly drawing attention.

  2. I'd have given them a toonie for that! Better than most buskers I've seen.

  4. Wonder if they do this full time, where they learned? For sure, there is an interesting backstory!

  6. If I'd been there I would have stopped to watch for sure!

  7. I too would have watched for a while. Were there buskers all over the park?

  11. Well these two buskers certainly made you forget about tulips. It's amazing the shows some buskers can put on.

  13. @VP: and with tulips in the background!

    @Halcyon: it was very impressive to watch.

    @Bill: it's quite a rarity.

    @Tomas: it is that too!

    @Marianne: the park was a very social area over the festival.

    @Janis: some buskers make a living doing this all over the place through the year.

    @Lowell: I have seen something similar done during our Busker's Festival, though I prefer this setting!

    @Luis: I thought so.

    @EG: it was pure chance seeing it going on, and I was glad to have the camera.

    @Gill: no, just these two, but there was a musical stage elsewhere in the park with musicians throughout the weekend.

    @Whisk: it's a lot of hard work.

    @Karl: thank you!

    @Sharon: they certainly do.

    @Jane and Chris: I agree!

    @Red: they certainly caught my attention.

    @Grace: the strength in particular for that struck me, along with the flexibility.

    1. I don't mind hard work but that kind, not so much for me. Looks like they're enjoying it though.

      Happy Weekend.

    @Jackie: it really was.

    @Cheryl: I was pleased to see it.

    @MB: it was something else to see!

    @Tex: I know I was.

    @Tamago: they did. I tried to photograph in a way that didn't involve the audience, who were off to the one side, but there was quite a crowd.

  27. @Lynette: you're welcome!

    @Beth: I think they'd do well in arm wrestling.

    @Carolann: we have a festival of them later in the summer.

    @Linda: it's a lot of fun to watch.

    @RedPat: I thought so!

    @Joy: definitely!

    @Jan: it certainly was.

    @Jennifer: wow indeed!

    @Mari: buskers here tend to draw in the crowds.

    @Lois: not often at all!

    @Randy: definitely.

    @Kay: it must take a lot of practice for them.

    @Linda: and yet beautiful at the same time!

    1. I strongly suspect these are members of a troupe here called Aerial Antics who appear quite a bit at events.
