Green Island And The Waterfalls

Returning from New Edinburgh, I stopped at Rideau Falls Park on and around Green Island. Fall colours stood out nicely among the monuments here.

The same applied to the waterfalls, here where the Rideau River meets the Ottawa River.

    @Janis: I'm planning on coming up again to photograph them at some point in the winter.

    @Red: since I'd relatively recently photographed them for themselves, combining them with fall colours seemed appropriate.

    @Sharon: indeed!

    @Jose: thanks!

    @Linda: thank you.

    @Lowell: comparatively speaking they are a respectable size. Though not a Niagara!

    @Norma: a pleasure to show them.
