Vantages Of The Cascade
The area around Hog's Back Falls are a photographer's dream. Much of it is parkland, and visitors get multiple views of the waterfalls and the river from both sides.
gorgeous. you had me at waterfall .. i prefer the rushing kind though. we lately have had the luck to get to many right after tons of rain. perfect in our books. ( :
They are a delight for amateur photographers right?.

@Beth: this one's quite different from the Rideau Falls downstream. And the activity here seems relatively moderate.
@EG: yes, there are homes and apartments so close to the park, so I imagine some of the neighbours make a walk down here regularly.

ReplyDelete@Kay: sedimentary of some sort, but this area is also a mix of sedimentary and Canadian Shield rock.
