@Linda: thanks. I had it yesterday... and at a point where it was repeatedly telling me I was wrong while I know I was right. Extremely frustrating to have to go ten times through the bloody photo identification thing when you know you're right every single time. If I had a Google techie in front of me last evening, I would have hit him.
We'd had some roses and dandelions blooming all over the place here up until about five days ago when it got really cold....all gone... Enjoy them while you can!
@Lowell: oh, these leaves are gone by now. I took these shots in October. Yes, we did get snow overnight!
@VP: thank you!
@Tammie: things look quite different here today. I took a couple of shots today... might post them at Facebook and create some kind of link in tomorrow's post.
@Pat: it looks more like winter here now.
@Red: it would be quite a job, with perks!
@Lauren: ours are gone now.
@RedPat: they've got a lot of lawn to wander around in!
@Halcyon: a lot of the property's open to the public. One does see kids running around in summer particularly.
@Ciel: we had some late blooming flowers, but that's done now.
Beautiful colors! I'm visiting my family further south and it's just now getting to be the color change in the leaves. It's nice to enjoy again (and avoid the bitter cold of home!).
Beautiful, William, and my favourites this time are your first and last photos!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the popup photo window verification thing is starting again for me.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to walk there

@Beth: I smiled when I looked out the windows this morning and saw snow!
Your entire city is so lush with beautiful flora. I heard you got snow last night or yesterday. Some of those leaves will probably disappear soon.
ReplyDeleteA nice contrast between the green and the autumnal leaves, complemented with the lovely colors of the flowers!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful William. We've had very late blooming roses this year, right into November but it is now cold and wet...
ReplyDeleteThe colouring trees make a great combination with the blue skies!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous William! I can never get enough of fall colors.
ReplyDeleteAny more green grass and I'll be tempted to go get a set of clubs. ;-)
ReplyDelete@Meradeth: I'd much rather have the cold!
ReplyDelete@Gracita: thank you!
@Geoff: it is, at nearly eighty acres.
@Lois: me too.
@Revrunner: there's an idea!
Those are none too shabby grounds! I especially like that fountain.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Wouldn't you love to live on grounds like these!!!
