Mixed Acts

I have a mix of buskers today. Here's another take on the Popeye and Olive duo I showed you some days ago, having had wrangled a couple of not so willing volunteers to join them in the act.

This fellow is billed as Pyromancer, whose act of course involved playing with fire in multiple ways.

El Gleno Grande is a veteran busker who combines circus goofiness and clowning with dry wit. He was dashing about on his noble "steed".

There was a chalkboard artist, different than the one from last year. I spoke with him early in the festival (and didn't catch his name), but liked the two works of art he had been working on.

Here's another look at the Bang Bang Boys, whose act I showed you some days ago.

Today I'm finishing with a couple of more shots from one of the members of  Spring Action Trampoline.

  23. @Marleen: chalk art ends up being very different from busking acts, but it's good to see it unfold.

    @Linda: you're welcome.

    @Tamago: I imagine buskers who work with fire do have their own scars and burns from occasional missteps.

    @Nancy: thank you!

    @MB: and there was still one or two acts that I didn't manage to take in over these few days.

    @RedPat: it was.

    @Beth: I think the artist washed away his work on one case, and the other was on a surface that he could take with him.

    @Stefan: it really is.

    @Janey: oh yes.

  33. The chalk art is amazing. I'm so glad you captured them in photos. So sad that they'll be washed away. (If we ever get serious rain!) Did you get some yesterday? My kids are canoe camping in Algonquin Park, on a lake, off another lake, with a portage and a 6 and 8 yr. old. They're troopers! And there was a storm yesterday. sigh. what, me worry?!
